Market applications of sulforaphane

Active sulforaphane (SFN) is used in dietary supplements or as a food additive (for adults to support immune system, combat inflammation and promote detoxification), pharmaceutical formulations (to enhance the efficacy of anti-cancer drugs) and skin care products (in ointments for topical anti-inflammatory treatment and anti-dehydration), and in sunscreens (for protection from UV radiation).

Our solution is based on the preparation of synthetic SFN, instead of isolating it from vegetables. Our synthetic formulation process offers several advantages, including API-level quality, lower production costs, manufacturing robustness and supply chain security. The stability of pure bioactive SFN is then secured using specific combinations of natural ingredients, accurately tailored to enable an expanded range of SFN concentrations and stability profiles.   

Synthetically produced and stabilized sulforaphane can now support highly efficient cosmetic and nutraceutical formulations and can further permit highly concentrated and dose-specific preparations, suitable for the research and development of SFN-based pharmaceutical products.
